How to "Recover" from Covid-2020

Updated: Aug 3, 2020

When a challenge arises do we fight or retreat? Our daily routines have been greatly effected due to the Covid-19 pandemic.  As individuals and as a collective this is somewhat of a breaking point but also a turning point of our lives. Can we rise to the challenge and come out stronger? As challenges arise on our path we have the choice to either fight or retreat. In the fight of life, it is survival of the fittest. We need to ask ourselves are we in a forward moving progression or a downward regression? It’s important to be aware of the truth about where you’re at.

“In the midst of chaos, there is opportunity.” - Sun Tzu

Countless lives have been effected by the pandemic. You can feel the unease in the air in public and online. Now is the time to reflecting on and realize our patterns. This is an opportunity to let go of unwanted behaviors. Does it feel like you are heading in a positive direction?  Are you more aware of what is important to you? That is progress! This is the right time to set everything in order and back on the right track.  Awareness is powerful!

If not now, when?

Now is a time to support your neighbor. Come closer through FaceTime and other platforms. If you need help, ask for it. Be ready to accept it and be supported. I believe by coming together, we become stronger, don’t let this stop you from enjoying every moment. Life is a big surrender. The universe is constantly testing us to lean in, dream big, and face ourselves. It’s a surrender experiment. Surrender isn’t about giving up its about letting go.

How to recover from the corona virus:

1. Keep a schedule - go to bed and get up at the same time - Set  your priorities.

2. Meditate - plain and simple sit there, breathe at least 10 minutes every day.

3. Workout - find a platform, teacher or trainer that works for you.

4. Stay Connected - contact or spend time with love ones.

5. Participate - support your neighbors and community.

Make a plan. Get it done.

Keep your head in the game. Find a friend, teacher or partner who speaks to you and helps you stay focused on your goals. Create a clear objective, list how to achieve your objective and adjust all means to that end. Set your goals and set them high, keep doing you best. This is the beginning of your highest success and growth. This is the flow.  Ride the wave of your highest self.

Stay Well. Stay Connected. Stay Centered.
